"The Jewish world is being shaken by the teachings of a new Rabbi called Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Over the past several months, rumors have been circulating about this curious new teacher, whose disciples have gone so far as to declare him to be the Messiah… Is Jesus the Messiah?…Whoever he is, large crowds are reported to be gathering around him to listen to his wisdom, see a miracle or wait for some trouble to start…."

How would the news be reported, if the events of the New Testament were occurring today?

During Lent, St. Paul's will approach the events of the cross as if they were current events.  Reporters will cover the story of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ from a variety of perspectives.  In the process, it is hoped that our understanding of the relevance of these perspectives will add to our appreciation of what Christ has accomplished for our salvation from sin, death and the devil.
Come and join us during the midweek Lenten Services as we consider the Breaking News of the Gospel.  They will alternate between St. Paul's - Colon (484 S. Burr Oak Rd) and St. Paul's - Centreville (600 W. Burr Oak Rd).
